Take Part of Changing Lives

Halfway around the world, nestled between China and India, and lying in the shadow of Mt. Everest is the country of Nepal.

It is the home of Buddha and is a milestone for many spiritual pilgrimages of people around the globe.

Covering the same area as the state of Arkansas, the terrain ranges from the highest point in the world to Tiger-filled jungles, to the hot plains of the Terai.

Our story begins with Bryan Nerren being invited to visit Nepal in 2002.  During that trip, he was introduced to a country full of people that would change his life forever.

He also realized that the children of Nepal in certain social casts, were not given access to education, and communities did not have access to clean drinking water.

Bryan, along with many others that have been connected to Nepal over the years, has witnessed civil wars, times of peace, and a transition of spiritual freedom.

If you would like to take part in the incredible changes happening in Nepal, we would love to hear from you.

Who We Are

Anchor: who
Asian Children’s Education Fellowship (ACEF) has been working for the past 15 years in Nepal and other Nepali speaking regions, developing leaders to change their countries from within. We have been training and developing local leaders to go back into their communities and affect them in a way that outsiders could never do. By using native leaders, the level of trust and effectiveness is greatly increased over a purely external approach.

ACEF is a non-profit organization. All donations are given directly to the people of Nepal and are tax deductible. All administrative costs are covered by independent donations to specifically cover those needs.

What We Have Done

Anchor: done
Since 2002, ACEF has helped train and develop over 20,000 leaders in Nepal. We partner with a native Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), which has been serving all over Nepal for over 30 years.

We help support their 30 full time staff members, 15 part time staff members, and over 10,000 volunteers. Our partnership has allowed us to dig community wells, hold medical clinics, and assist in providing uniforms and books to over 2500 children who would have never had the opportunity to attend schools.

During the devastating earthquakes of 2015, which affected the entire country, we were able to raise over $60,000 to send to Nepal. 100% of that money was distributed by our NGO partner directly to the people of Nepal. We were able to provide food and shelter to 17,283 survivors and saved many lives by doing so.

100% of your donation to ACEF is sent to the Nepali people. All administrative costs are covered by means other than donations.

ACEF is a not for profit Non-Governmental-Organization and is a ministry of the International House of Prayer Ministries in Shelbyville, TN.
