Asian Children Education Fellowship

Nestled between China and India, lying in the shadow of Mt. Everest, is the country of Nepal.

ACEF has being investing into Nepal since a 2002 trip that our founder, Bryan Nerren, had been on while training Sunday School teachers.

During his visit he was introduced to the “rock breaker children”. These were children who should have been in school, but because of their economic standing were not able to attend because they could not afford the books and uniforms required to enroll.

The mission of ACEF is to change the lives of the Nepali children and the trajectory of an entire country by giving them hope of an eduction by providing uniforms and books to begin their journey.

 

Asian Children’s Education Fellowship (ACEF) has been working n Nepal and other Nepali speaking regions, developing leaders to change their countries from within since 2001. We have been training and developing local leaders to go back into their communities and affect them in a way that outsiders could never do. By using native leaders, the level of trust and effectiveness is greatly increased over a purely external approach.

ACEF is a non-profit organization. All donations are given directly to the people of Nepal and are tax deductible. All administrative costs are covered by independent donations to specifically cover those needs.

ACEF has helped to train and develop over 20,000 leaders in Nepal. We partner with a native Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), which has been serving all over Nepal since 1990.

We help support their 30 full time staff members, 15 part time staff members, and over 10,000 volunteers. Our partnership has allowed us to dig community wells, hold medical clinics, and assist in providing uniforms and books to over 1,600 children who would have never had the opportunity to attend schools.

During the devastating earthquakes of 2015, which affected the entire country, we were able to raise over $60,000 to send to Nepal. 100% of that money was distributed by our NGO partner directly to the people of Nepal. We were able to provide food and shelter to 17,283 survivors and saved many lives by doing so.
